
SUMMARY: Â The Carson & Colorado Railroad Company commenced its construction on May 10, 1880. This extensive three hundred-mile route extended from Mound House, Nevada, to Keeler, California.
During this trip, we explored the segment of the Carson & Colorado Railway that extends from the Tonopah junction to the C&C-Candeleria junction, ultimately reaching the Candeleria Ghost Town.
The construction of the branch line to Candeleria was finalized in 1882. However, the railroad was discontinued in 1932
